Top female politicians mostly serving governors now forms inner team of possible Ruto's running mate a head of the forthcoming general elections in the country set for the August 2027 in the country.
The female politicians including, Kirinyaga governor who is serving her last term as governor Ann Waiguru, Nakuru governor Susan Kihika serving her first term, Embu governor Cecily Mbarire who is also the ruling party UDA national chairperson forms the first bunch from the larger Mount Kenya region.
If the president has to pick a female politician from mount Kenya as his running mate, then he could pick either from the list due to their political influence in the mountain.
Another female politician Ruto could easily reach out to and pick as his running mate is the Homa Bay governor Gladys Wanga from the ODM party which is currently the ODM party National chairperson.
Wanga has proven to be having some influence from within the ODM party which is one of the largest political parties in the country hence could attract Ruto into picking her as his running mate.
Itis now a matter to time to see whether Ruto will pick a female politician as his running mate, retain the current deputy president Kithure Kindiki or pick another politician.
