Waweru Sammy Douglas Kamau has taken a commanding early lead in the Ol Kalou parliamentary by-election as vote counting continues across the constituency.
Preliminary results indicate the DCP candidate has secured more than 80 per cent of the ballots counted so far, opening a wide gap over UDA candidate Samuel Muchina Nyagah.
The tallying process remains ongoing, and the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) is expected to announce the official results after receiving and verifying all polling station returns.
