Kibwezi West Member of Parliament Mwengi Mutuse is mourning the loss of his brother and sister-in-law after a fatal road accident.

The lawmaker announced the deaths of Stephen Ngei Musyoka and his wife, Giannaphina Mumbua Ngei, on Saturday, June 20. He described the tragedy as a painful loss that has left the family in shock.

Mutuse said his brother built a successful business career from humble beginnings. He noted that Ngei founded Makindu Motors Ltd, a company involved in assembling and selling motorcycles and other vehicles.

The MP praised his brother's contribution to economic growth in the Ukambani region. He said the businessman created jobs and inspired many young entrepreneurs through his success story.

Mutuse also expressed condolences to family members and relatives as they mourn the couple. He asked friends and supporters to keep the family in their prayers during the difficult period.

The deaths add to a series of personal losses recently reported among political leaders. On Friday, June 19, Bumula Member of Parliament Jack Wamboka announced the death of his elder brother, Erick Juma Wamboka, after a long illness.

Wamboka described his brother as a trusted adviser, close friend and pillar of strength to the family. He also appealed to Kenyans to pray for his family as they come to terms with the loss.
