The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has announced recruitment for temporary staff to support the upcoming thirty-day Enhanced Continuous Voter Registration (ECVR) exercise. The Commission is seeking qualified applicants to fill key positions at the ward level, including Voter Registration Assistants, Voter Registration Clerks, and ICT Clerks.
IEBC emphasized that youths are strongly encouraged to apply, highlighting the opportunity as a chance for young people to participate in the electoral process. The temporary roles are critical to ensuring efficient voter registration, data management, and ICT support throughout the country.
Interested candidates are required to submit their applications online through the official portal at https://jobs.iebc.or.ke. The Commission has set the application deadline as Wednesday, March 4, 2026, stressing that all submissions must be completed before the deadline.
The ECVR exercise is a nationwide initiative aimed at updating and expanding the voter register in preparation for upcoming elections. IEBC officials noted that the exercise will enhance transparency and accessibility, allowing eligible citizens to register or update their voter details at the ward level.
The Commission urged prospective applicants to ensure that all details are accurate and complete when applying, as the positions play a vital role in the success of the voter registration exercise. This recruitment reflects IEBC’s commitment to inclusive and efficient electoral processes.
