At least four people have been confirmed dead in an accident near Dedan Kimathi University in Nyeri County Saturday evening, March 28.
According to sources, a lorry carrying woods fell on a public service vehicle.
The Nyeri County Department of Gender and Social Services announced deploying rescuers to the scene.
"Our Rescue team under the Disaster Risk management directorate is currently responding to an accident near Dedan Kimathi We appreciate them for the quick response," it said.
