Paul died on Friday, August 21, in Eldoret, where he had been receiving medical treatment.
His death came just hours after former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua visited the family and pledged to settle his Ksh1.8 million hospital bill.
According to his family, Paul had struggled with the illness for an extended period before his condition worsened.
He remained in hospital in Eldoret as relatives sought support for his medical care.
The fmily has now been left to mourn his death as details of his burial arrangements remain pending.
Gachagua visited the family shortly before Paul’s death and committed to settling the outstanding Ksh1.8 million medical bill.
The former Deputy President also pledged to support the family following the death of Johana Ng’eno, who previously served as the Emurua Dikirr MP.
Paul’s death adds another loss to the family as relatives prepare to make funeral arrangements.
