Deputy President Kithure Kindiki has congratulated Democracy for the Citizens Party (DCP) candidate Sammy Douglas Waweru Kamau following the Ol Kalou parliamentary by-election. Kindiki described Kamau's victory as imminent and urged him to serve all residents equally.
He called on the incoming legislator to unite the people of Ol Kalou and work for every constituent without discrimination. Kindiki said inclusive leadership will help strengthen development in the constituency.
DP Praises UDA Candidate
Kindiki also applauded UDA candidate Samuel Muchina for running what he described as a peaceful and issue-based campaign. He praised the candidate for maintaining civility and avoiding insults during the election period.
Although Samuel Muchina did not win the seat, Kindiki said the outcome should not discourage him. He added that the UDA candidate still has a bright political future ahead.
