New Fuel Prices Announced

Following the review, Super Petrol will now retail at a maximum of Ksh214.25 per litre. Diesel will retail at Ksh242.92 per litre for the next 30 days.

EPRA, however, retained kerosene prices during the latest review period. Kerosene will continue retailing at Ksh152.78 per litre nationwide.

The regulator said the adjustments followed provisions under the Petroleum Act 2019. EPRA also cited relevant tax regulations guiding fuel pricing.

Price Changes Take Effect Immediately

The new prices will remain effective from May 15 to June 14, 2026. Motorists and businesses now expect higher transport and operational costs.

Fuel price increases often affect food prices and public transport fares across Kenya. Many consumers may now face increased living expenses.

EPRA stated that the review followed the official fuel pricing formula currently used nationally. The authority releases revised fuel prices every month.
