A watchman at a Kileleshwa apartment has come under scrutiny after CCTV footage placed him at the center of the timeline leading to the death of 22-year-old Consolata Githinji.
Footage shows the guard making routine patrols before Consolata arrived with a 33-year-old man in the early hours. Minutes later, he assisted the pair in accessing the apartment through a keybox system.
However, investigators are now focusing on his movements shortly before the incident. At around 4:34am, the guard entered the apartment, moments after shadows near the doorway suggested possible activity inside.
He later exited, lingered briefly, and returned again minutes later. Authorities say this sequence places him among the last people near the scene before Consolata’s fall.
Detectives are now working to determine what prompted his entry and whether he witnessed anything critical inside the apartment.
