Fear has gripped residents of Kenyenya in Bomachoge Borabu, Kisii County, after a shocking and disturbing incident involving a local family.

The family woke up to find some of their hens severely injured, with their beaks cut off in what appears to have been a deliberate act.

At the scene, the family also discovered a handwritten note that has since caused panic and confusion.

The note, written in red ink, reportedly listed the names of three family members alongside specific dates that allegedly predict when they would die. This chilling message has left the affected family living in fear and uncertainty.

According to details seen by locals, the note named Joel Makanga as the first person, with a date of 4th July 2026.

The second name listed was Damaris Joeto, with a date of 22nd December 2026.

The final message allegedly pointed to the “first lady” of the family, claiming she would die on 1st March 2027.

The meaning of “first lady” in the note remains unclear, adding to the confusion surrounding the incident.

Family members say they are deeply disturbed by the discovery and do not understand who could have written such a message or why they are being targeted.
